LA2Z Activities

LA2Z is active in most major contests on both HF and VHF/UHF. Especially active in the NAC, Nordic activity tests on 144/432/1296 MHz. Operator in most of the contests is LA6MV (Helge), with several others pitching in as CW operators, such as LA3BO, LA2PKA, LA5EKA and LA5SKA.
Other activities include operation of the original radiostation in the submarine MMU Utstein (Kobben class, former S302 KNM Utstein) at the Norwegian Naval Museum. The station is in operation with the callsign LB1AV every sunday from 1100 to 1500 UTC during the summer season. Operates both CW and SSB. There is a special QSL card available, which will be sent to every station the submarine radio operator has contact with.

LA2Z also participates in JOTA, Lighthouse weekend and other events. We also have quite a few meetings every year featuring debate's, electronics projects, antenna projects and lectures on various subjects. The current meeting agenda is outlined below (automatically updated).
